Generation Easyjet

The Generation EasyJet pilot training program is recognized as one of the best cadet schemes available. It is designed to equip aspiring pilots with a Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) instead of a frozen ATPL. This innovative approach prepares candidates to be operational as quickly as possible by training them directly with easyJet SOPs.

As the airline anticipates significant growth in the coming years with an order book of more than 400 aircrafts to be delivered in the coming years, it plans to recruit numerous pilots to support its expanding operations, making this program a prime opportunity for future aviators.

Stage 1 : Online Application

In the stage 1 of the selection process, you’ll be asked to provide basic information about your identity and confirm your high school graduation. This phase isn’t about selection but rather verifying that you meet the necessary requirements. You’ll also be asked for details like your age, your plan to finance the training, and whether you hold a Private Pilot License (PPL). You won’t need to upload a CV or cover letter at this point.

Once you’ve submitted the required information, CAE will review your application and respond within a week. If everything is in order, you’ll be invited to reserve a date for the second stage of the selection process.

Stage 2 : Computer tests (ADAPT)

In the second stage of the selection process, candidates are evaluated to determine their suitability for the training program. Conducted entirely online, this stage includes a personality test and a series of psychometric assessments known as ADAPT. These tests are designed to assess various cognitive and personal attributes, ensuring candidates are well-prepared to succeed in the rigorous training ahead.

List of test in ADAPT assessment:

    • Mathematics
    • Physics
    • Cognitive reasoning (logic)
    • FAST test (simulator)

Stage 3 : Group Activity & Personal Interview

In the third stage of the selection process, candidates participate in a group exercise where they need to work together to solve a specific problem. This is followed by an individual interview with an EasyJet assessor. The group exercise assesses teamwork and problem-solving skills, while the interview focuses on evaluating each candidate’s suitability and motivation for the pilot training program.
